The fees are gross figures. The Dutch tax authorities (‘Belastingdienst’) provide parents with a contribution towards the costs known as the ‘Kinderopvangtoeslag’ (‘Childcare Allowance’). You receive this contribution every month directly from the Dutch tax authorities. You have to submit a request for ‘Childcare Allowance’ (see: rekenmodule. There it is also possible to make a calculation of your net outgoings.

It depends on the days you would like to have a place and / or whether you need a place for a baby or a toddler.
