Childcare Centre Princess Ariane in Noordwijk

At Childcare Centre Princess Ariane in Noordwijk we provide childcare for the children of ESA-ESTEC personnel. For that reason, English is spoken in one of the toddlers’ groups at Princess Ariane.

For new registrations please contact Carin van Mol, Welfare Officer at ESA-ESTEC.

This website contains several links to our corporate website which is in Dutch. Therefore it is possible that you encounter Dutch texts. Our apologies for this inconvenience. In case you have any questions, please contact our team at Princess Ariane.

In the baby groups at our childcare centre, babies literally get a lot of space: their freedom of movement is not limited. They determine how and where to play and move, setting their own pace. In this respect, we get our inspiration from the ideas of the Hungarian paediatrician, Emmi Pikler.

Our new and spacious facility is designed to give the toddlers plenty of play opportunities as well. There is a large hall, a separate hobby room for handicrafts and a wonderful kitchen which provides a hot meal at lunch time every day. We offer different activities which focus on different developmental areas.

Playing outside is also important. We even have a little stream flowing through the garden. We also make frequent visits to the children’s farm and the stables close by. At Princess Ariane, each day is too short!
